Chilli Sauce

For use with Beef, Chicken or Pork

Ingredients

  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 stick of celery choppped
  • 2 gloves of garlic
  • 1 green and 1 red chilli chopped
  • 2 tablespoons tomato puree
  • 2 tins of  chopped tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin powder or seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon of chilli powder

Method

  • Add a little oil to a pan, add the onion, garlic celery and chilli peppers and cook for a few minutes
  • Add  the cumin and chilli powder and cook for a further few minutes
  • Add the tomato puree
  • Add both tins of chopped tomatoes and cook for 15 minutes
  • Blend the sauce if required
