Chilli Sauce
For use with Beef, Chicken or Pork
Ingredients
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 stick of celery choppped
- 2 gloves of garlic
- 1 green and 1 red chilli chopped
- 2 tablespoons tomato puree
- 2 tins of chopped tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon of cumin powder or seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon of chilli powder
Method
- Add a little oil to a pan, add the onion, garlic celery and chilli peppers and cook for a few minutes
- Add the cumin and chilli powder and cook for a further few minutes
- Add the tomato puree
- Add both tins of chopped tomatoes and cook for 15 minutes
- Blend the sauce if required
