Sweet and Sour Sauce
For use with Chicken, Pork or Prawns
Ingredients
- 1/2 Pint of water
- 1/4 Pint of vinegar
- 4oz sugar
- Small tin of pineapple chunks
- 6 Tablespoons tomato puree
- 1/2 Carrot cut into thin strips
- 25mls of soysauce
- 3 Tablespoons of corn flour (mixed with cold water into a thin paste)
Method
- Place the water, vinegar, sugar, puree and soy sauce into a pan and bring to the boil
- Thicken with the corn flour
- Add the carrot and pineapple to finish
