Tomato and Herb Sauce
For use with Chicken,Pork, Veal or Fish
Ingredients
- 3 Tablespoons of tomato puree
- 3 Tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1/2 Onion finely chopped
- 1 Teaspoon of mixed herbs
- 1/2 Pint of stock (chicken or veg)
- 2 Tablespoons of plain flour
Method
- Add the oil to a sauce pan and cook the onion and garlic gently
- Add the tomato puree
- Add the flour and cook for 2 minutes
- Add the stock gradually stirring as you go
- Cook for approx minutes- stirring occasionally
- Season to taste
